Meeting Report for January 9, 2025
The
meeting was called to order by the Chapter Vice President Lawrence
Green. The meeting was held over the internet on the ZOOM app.
Other attending Chapter Officer’s, members and guess were: Myself - Bob Pace, Robert Sorrell, Jerry Martin and
Joe DiMaria
Inspirational – Inspirational words were said to open the meeting.
Secretary – Report for December 2024 was approved at this meeting.
Treasurer – Tony reported on the Chapter’s checking account balance by email.
Committee Reports – Membership report was 79 members. VA/HUD/VASH no
request for assistance have been made. Community Service – On hold at
this time.
UNFINISHED
Report on Holiday Dinner- The Chapter hosted a Holiday Dinner at the
Golden Corral, December 12, 2024. Everyone seemed to have a good time.
We look forward to next years event.
NEW BUSINESS -
VVA National Board Meeting– National Board meeting to be held January
10-11 2025. Location: Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel. – 900 South
Orme Street, Arlington, Virginia 22204.
VSC Meeting – The next VSC meeting is to be held in the
Williamsburg,Virginia area sometime in March (meeting location
& date TBD).
Inspirational closing - Inspirational words were said to end this meeting.
Next Meeting - The Chapter's next meeting will be held on February 13 2025 at 6:30 PM in the Prince William County Police Association Hall.
